Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Karim Nassar (http://localhost:3000) uses cookies and similar technologies.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. "Similar technologies" include session storage, which lets a site remember information in your browser while a tab is open.

2. What we use

We keep things minimal. Visitors and customers get no cookies at all: you do not need an account to book. Our site stores only the following small items in your browser (no tracking, nothing is sent to us or to anyone else):

booking_draft (session storage, until you close the tab): carries the time you picked (and your optional note) from the booking page to the checkout page.

store_visit_v1 (session storage, until you close the tab): remembers that this visit has already been counted, so it isn't counted twice.

support_bot_chat (session storage, until you close the tab): keeps the conversation with the chat assistant while you move between pages.

newsletter_popup_t0 (session storage, until you close the tab): remembers when this visit started, so the newsletter pop-up appears once after two minutes.

newsletter_popup_seen (local storage, 30 days): remembers that you have seen the newsletter pop-up, so we don't show it again for 30 days.

newsletter_subscribed (local storage, until you clear site data): remembers that you subscribed, so we don't ask again.

We also keep simple, anonymous visit counts (for example "how many people viewed this page today"). They are stored as totals only: no cookies, no IP addresses and no personal identifiers. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we don't count your visit at all.

The site owner signs in to a private dashboard using a secure cookie (store_admin) that is only ever set for the owner. Visitors and customers never receive it.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.

3. Third parties

Our host (Cloudflare) may set technical cookies or process technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site.

4. Managing storage

You can delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. The site will keep working, although the note you typed on the booking page may not carry over to checkout.

5. Changes

If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
